...so what´s up with this Legendary RFX 32 card ?
It´s just a Yamaha 02R with two Ensoniq DP4 inside and a little bit more ;-)
You can think twice with this card.1. Really like an Audio Mixer just with Channels and Bus and Aux or as an ultimative SoundRackMixer.
First of all you have to know something before i can explain to you what I do with this card and why.
This Card has a Bug ( not Really) but it isn´t really explained in the manual. On the Card are two Chips . These two Chips split the whole Power of all what there happens on the Card ( I/O)
...you are allready familiar with the EOS?..ok
All inside bus 1-6 and GFX1 going to Chip 1
and all inside buss 7-12 and GFX2 going to Chip 2
If you work with the Subouts like me with the ADAT Card , you will get the most Power and flexibilty in thinking of maximal basicly four Sounds to get out of this Machine. ( or name it Preset if you want....but be careful this is relative on this Machine )
So, default in my Setup Bus1 = Adat 1-2 , Bus2 =Adat 3-4 , Bus 7=Adat 5-6 , Bus 8= Adat 7-8 . Sometimes i Change in the RFX Output-Menu Bus2 and Bus8 to / GFX1 and GFX2, its necessary if you want to work with MixerPlug and Vocoder.
It´s very important to understand this routing.

The Vocoder Plug , you need the MixerPlugIn with this! The is a Sound Demo with the Vocoder. Setup and Toturial came up as soon as possible.
Emu Z-Plan Filter with RFX32 PlugIn QuadMaXter and Phaser / DDL additional Lexicon 300 Reverb + Stereo DDL and some Stereo Image Gimmicks wich seem to be a Secret.
